The Sunshine Club, an out-of-school club based on the grounds of St Vincent's Catholic Primary School, is looking for passionate, enthusiastic, committed members of the team to join our busy, thriving breakfast and after-school club during term time and holiday club during school holidays.
Level 2 or above in Playwork or relevant experience with children desirable but not essential.
Working hours during term time (39 weeks):
- 22.5 hours per week - 7:30am – 9:00am AND 3pm – 6:00pm Monday to Friday Applicants MUST be able to work both the morning and afternoon shifts
Working hours during school holidays (13 weeks):
- 40 hours per week on a shift pattern between 7.30am - 6.00pm
31 days holidays
Hourly rate: £14.00
The Sunshine Club provides quality childcare for pupils from the school aged 4 to 11 years. We have a separate early years unit for the Reception children.
The role includes supervising children, engaging with the children in aspects of play and conversation, setting up and leading activities and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Experience of working with 4-11 year olds and children with Special Educational Needs is desirable but not essential. More important is an enthusiasm for engaging children in a wide range of activities.
A full induction will be provided and there will be opportunities for additional training throughout your employment.
