We are seeking a hands-on, customer-focused Electronics Repair Technician & Shop Assistant to join our team. In this versatile role, you will handle hardware repairs while managing daily store operations, customer interactions, and online order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical & Repairs: Diagnose, service, and repair computers, laptops, mobile devices, and various electronics.
- Customer Service: Answer incoming phone calls, greet walk-in customers, assess technical issues, and provide clear, friendly advice.
- Order Fulfillment: Safely package, label, and dispatch items sold through our website and eBay store.
- Inventory & Maintenance: Maintain an organized workshop, track repair parts, and assist with stock management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Hands-on experience repairing computers, laptops, or general consumer electronics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for in-person and phone customer service.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail when packing fragile items.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with online selling platforms (eBay, e-commerce) is a plus.
- Recommended: A genuine interest in electronics, circuit boards, and battery technology.
