Location: Mallusk
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Day Shift
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 7:25am – 5:25pm (Enjoy a 3-day weekend every week!)
Pay: £13.50 per hour, plus overtime opportunities
IFS Group is recruiting a Production Operator for our CMASS Manufacturing site in Mallusk.
Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for operating production machinery, assembling electronic products and supporting the manufacture of high-quality products. You'll also play a key role in meeting production targets, maintaining quality standards and ensuring a safe and organised working environment.
Responsibilities
- Operating production machinery to assemble electronic products
- Assembling cable looms and mechanical components with precision
- Performing soldering tasks and working with PCBa assemblies
- Kit preparation and packaging of completed units
- Meeting daily/weekly output targets and maintaining quality standards
- Participating in LEAN manufacturing initiatives
- Ensuring your workstation remains clean, organised, and safe
- Supporting a wide range of projects across various product lines
- Other Duties as deemed appropriate
- General tidiness/cleanliness
Experience & Skills
- Experience working in a Production environment
- Soldering experience
- Knowledge of electronic components and working with PCBAs
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to follow work instructions and adhere to processes
- Comfortable multitasking in a busy, team-oriented environment
- Basic computer literacy (ECDL or equivalent desirable)
- Quick learner
