Care Assistant
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Pay: £13.50 - £15.50 per hour + mileage
Shifts Available: Days & Nights
Contract: Permanent – 24 & 36 hour contracts available
About the Role
JAM CARE is looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Complex Care Assistants to join our growing team, providing high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes across the Stoke-on-Trent area, including Longton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, and Tunstall.
JAM CARE is not a domiciliary care company. You will support one client for the entire duration of your shift, giving you the opportunity to build a trusting relationship while delivering consistent, personalised care tailored to their individual needs.
This is a permanent employed position with guaranteed contracted hours. Our clients have a range of complex care needs, and you may support individuals living with:
- Physical disabilities
- Spinal injuries

Key Responsibilities
Your role will include supporting clients with complex care needs:
· Personal care and daily living support
· Airway management and respiratory support
· Bowel care and associated health needs
· Epilepsy management and seizure support
· Following individual care plans and routines
· Supporting independence and wellbeing
· Assisting with mobility and physical needs
· Providing emotional and social support
· Maintaining a safe and positive environment

Requirements
· Minimum of 6 months’ UK care experience
· Valid right to work in the UK
· Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
· Excellent communication skills
· A caring, patient, and reliable approach
