About the Role
Loftware is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Quality Systems Specialist to join our expanding Global Compliance team headquartered in Portsmouth, NH. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Quality Systems and Compliance while gaining hands-on experience in a global software company.
Reporting to the Director of Global Compliance, you will support the maintenance and continuous improvement of Loftware's Quality Management System (QMS) and work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization. You'll receive guidance and mentorship while developing your knowledge of quality standards, compliance processes, internal auditing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Support the maintenance of Loftware's Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure documentation remains accurate and up to date.
- Assist with internal and external audits, including supporting SOC 2 Type II and ISO audit activities.
- Help track and document corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), audit findings, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist with reviewing and updating quality procedures, policies, and documentation.
- Support customer Request for Information (RFI) questionnaires related to quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote quality best practices and continuous improvement.
- Assist with quality-related activities associated with mergers and acquisitions, as needed.
- Perform administrative and coordination tasks that support the Global Compliance team.
What You'll Need:
1–2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, Compliance, or a related field, or a recent graduate with relevant internships or coursework.
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Basic understanding of quality management principles and an interest in learning about ISO standards, CAPA, auditing, and compliance.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with document management or quality systems is a plus.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or other quality and compliance frameworks through education, internships, or previous experience.
- Experience working with document management systems or quality management systems.
- Internship or project experience in Quality Assurance, Compliance, or Process Improvement.
- Familiarity with software or technology companies.
- Interest in continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization.
