We are looking for individuals who has experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment. We are expanding our Venue and looking for the following Chef de Parties/Commis Chef to assist the Sous Chefs and Head Chef in the smooth operation of the kitchen by delivering a consistently high standard of product whilst maintaining a clean and tidy workspace. Efficiency is key, therefore communication skills with both the kitchen team and front of house team are essential.
This candidate is punctual, well presented and passionate about the produce they deliver.
Key Attributes:
- Assisting the Senior Chef with the running of the kitchen
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness is maintained at all times
- Ensure consistency is delivered at all times
- Ensure the level of product is at its highest at all times
- Compliance with company policy – house rules, training programmes, H&S, HACCP compliant
- Good time keeping skills
- Works efficiently to reduce wastage and maximise profit
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Line Cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
- Strong attention to detail in meal preparation
