Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Band 7 Echocardiographer to join a well-established cardiac diagnostics team on the Isle of Man.
This is an excellent locum opportunity for a highly skilled BSE Level 2 Accredited Echocardiographer to work within a modern cardiac service, performing and reporting high-quality echocardiograms while supporting the diagnosis and management of patients with a range of cardiovascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive adult transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) to a high clinical standard.
- Independently analyse, interpret, and report echocardiographic findings.
- Produce accurate diagnostic reports to support clinical decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with cardiologists, cardiac physiologists, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure all examinations are carried out in accordance with BSE guidelines and departmental protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Participate in quality assurance and maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
Applicant Requirements
- BSc (Hons) in Clinical Physiology or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Postgraduate specialist training in Echocardiography.
- British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) Level 2 Adult Echocardiography Accreditation is essential.
- Significant experience performing and independently reporting adult echocardiograms.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
