We are seeking a Bartender / Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, be over the age of 18, and willing to be flexiable
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and ensuring that guests receive excellent customer service, and stepping in, where required on the floor
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with licensing laws
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Uphold food safety standards and hygiene practices at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- A passion for bartending, with knowledge of various drink recipes and preparation techniques.
