Job Overview
The Housekeeper is responsible for preparing and maintaining Wilderness Reserve’s luxury properties to the highest possible standard, ensuring every guest arrival reflects the estate’s commitment to exceptional quality, comfort, and attention to detail.
Working across a portfolio of beautifully restored historic homes and cottages, the role plays a vital part in delivering a seamless, five-star guest experience. Full training is provided for each property, along with equipment, products, laundry support, and access to estate vehicles to navigate the 6,000-acre site safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Prepare luxury properties for guest arrivals, departures, and in-stay cleans to consistently high standards.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, presentation, and finishing touches in line with Wilderness Reserve’s brand expectations.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of effective cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role
