Position: Barista Coffee Shop
Job Type: Barista- Must be available to work one weekend day per week.
Job Hours: 20 hours a week minimum , must available both weekend days, although not required for both days . Must be available to cover during the week. Experience a must, would not suit for a first time role due to the business of the site. The environment is fast past and applicants must be able to take responsibility during a busy service. 7am starts!
Wage: Up to £12.71/hour
Dash is a speciality ‘grab and go’ coffee shop in the heart of Leigh-on-Sea. We are passionate about bringing speciality coffee to the community with a focus on providing a complete experience! We are do everything to a very high standard, from cleaning to making excellent coffee and engaging with locals. It is all done with energy and determination. We are on a path to success and seek to replicate the model at multiple locations and therefore are looking for ‘go-getters’ to take the journey with us.

Who are we looking for?
At Dash as team member you should be passionate about the customer experience, coffee and building a great team! Help us cultivate an amazing coffee experience, and you'll want to tell others about it!
You’ll act as a role model in all you do, inspiring and set the tone for others, with the desire to be a Dash Manager of the future. You’ll thrive on delighting customers, putting them at the centre of everything you do. Your role as Barista is integral to the success of our shop and you will work closely with the owners and our roasters to develop products and ensure only the highest quality coffee is served.
Dash! is looking for fun people with a can do attitude to join our all star team who is comfortable with being part of a dynamic team for the long term, but who:
- A Dashitte who will be with Dash for the journey, keen to develop through a business who is as keen to invest in their team members. - This is a permanent role not a summer job.
- Have an outgoing personality and genuinely enjoy talking to customers as well as supporting your team members in their growth as well as your own. Must be able to be great under pressure.
- Hands-on, Enjoy a very busy environment.
- We are open 7 days a week , overtime available.
- Have great attention to detail in everything you do, especially during busy periods.
- Hard working, consciences & reliable.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Offer an amazing coffee experience.
- Serve the perfect coffee every time. Training given- But experience of either a fast past restaurant / retail or similar coffee environment needed.
- Make local friends within your community and actively seek collaborations
- Ensure workstation and shop is always clean and tidy. Do weekly & monthly cleaning.
- Support the manager and team members in day to day running of the coffee shop.
