Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all designated areas are kept tidy, sanitary, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties
- Clean and sanitise all office areas, including desks, floors, windows, and communal spaces
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and break areas
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within allocated timeframes
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Flexibility to work during scheduled hours, which may include early mornings or late afternoons depending on operational needs
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning tasks is desirable
