Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care for elderly residents in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for senior care and possess strong leadership skills.
Duties
- Supervise and support care staff in delivering exceptional care to residents
- Assist in creating and implementing individual care plans
- Drive the delivery of person-centred care services
- Use IT systems effectively to maintain accurate resident records
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Previous experience in a senior care role is essential, must have a Diploma Level 2 and willing to work toward a Level 3
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations
- A compassionate and caring nature towards elderly residents
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £14.12-£14.37 per hour
