Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and welcoming. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Ensure that all rooms are well-stocked with necessary supplies such as toiletries and linens.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in communal areas and facilities.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, ensuring that all linens are clean and properly stored.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests in a friendly manner.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic cooking skills would be an advantage for roles requiring meal preparation or assistance.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
