Pre- is a premium beauty studio in the heart of Islington, offering expert facials, waxing, brow and lash treatments in one welcoming space.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Facial & Waxing Therapist to join our growing team. This is a full-time role for a confident, professional and detail-focused therapist who can deliver both advanced facial treatments and a complete range of waxing services to an consistently high standard.
You will work with an established client base while helping us build long-term client relationships through excellent treatments, thoughtful recommendations and outstanding care.
Treatments You Will Deliver
Facials
- Custom facials and LED light therapy
- Hydrafacial treatments
- Microneedling
- Chemical peels
- Radio frequency, galvanic treatments, no-needle mesotherapy, high-frequency technology.
Training can be provided on specific products, equipment and Pre- treatment protocols where required.
Waxing
- Full-body waxing
- Intimate waxing
- Facial waxing
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consistently excellent facial and waxing treatments in line with Pre- protocols.
- Carry out thorough consultations and create personalised treatment plans.
- Recommend suitable home-care routines.
- Apply a strong understanding of skin anatomy, physiology and contraindications.
- Ensure clients feel comfortable, informed and at ease throughout their appointment.
- Build lasting client relationships
- Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, cleanliness, safety and presentation.
- Keep accurate client records and treatment notes.
- Stay informed about relevant products, treatments, techniques and industry developments.
About You
- A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience within a salon, spa or clinic.
- An NVQ Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Experience using advanced facial technology, microneedling, chemical peels and Hydrafacial.
- Excellent consultation, communication and client-care skills.
- Strong attention to detail and consistently high treatment standards.
- A professional, reliable, warm and friendly approach.
- Good retail and treatment recommendation skills.
- A genuine interest in ongoing learning and professional development.
- Availability to work weekends.
