Technical Administrator - Cardiff Area

The role of Technical Administrator:
- Collate quality records including key production records so they are available and easily retrievable, and able to provide traceability documentation within required timeframes
- Obtain certificates of analysis from suppliers for all ingredients used on site prior to production, check against specification, and file as per procedure
- Obtain a sample of each sleeve print run, check against approved PDF, and record the check prior to use in production
- Collate delivery notes with delivery check stamp completed for scanning and archiving
- Monitor drum intake and communicate manufacturer's batch details and testing requirements to the process department and laboratory
- Routinely supply PI sheets to production lines, process, and laboratory
- Provide an administrative resource for the Technical department and provide statistical data as required
- Issue approved documentation to relevant departments
The ideal Technical Administrator:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrable experience in roles requiring attention to detail
- Experience maintaining legal traceability records including filing and archiving systems
- Able to perform basic calculations as required
- Good time management and sound verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and produce required reports
- Willingness to undergo training and commitment to professional development
- Experience of checking records, working within a Technical Department, or continuous improvement (desirable)
