Duties:
- Assisting healthcare professionals in providing patient care and support.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Administering medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician.
- Assisting with medical procedures, such as wound care or specimen collection.
- Maintaining a clean and organized patient environment.
- Providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a healthcare assistant training program or certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Compassionate and empathetic towards patients.
- Ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
