The Wild Thang Digital Print Department combines both small and large format digital paper printing and large volume digital garment branding. The role will combine tasks within all areas of the department.
Working with the Digital Department Supervisor, the successful candidate will use best working practices within the Digital Print Department, improving team efficiency, sharing knowledge and always looking for ways to improve the department. You will hold a broad understanding of Company/Departmental challenges and nurture this understanding throughout all team members to encourage positivity and to build positive working relationships with other departments.
We are looking for a candidate to assist in the ever-increasing volume of small format digital print volumes. Experience of the small format digital print and finishing process is essential for this role. Experience in digital garment branding is preferred but not essential as full training will be given in this area.

The Role
As a DIGITAL PRINT DEPARTMENT OPERATIVE you will play a vital role in producing high-quality finished products from digital flat sheet printing and assist in the production of high quality branded garments using DTG printing and Heat Press Transfer process.
Qualifications for Role
- Experience as a Digital Print Operator in a similar role.
- Experience of commercial sheet fed digital printing press run via Fiery Command Workstation
- Experience of using Adobe Acrobat, Fiery Impose and Fiery Freeform Create software
- Strong understanding of print production processes, including file preparation, colour management, and finishing techniques.
- Experience of print finishing equipment including use of guilliotine, creaser, folder, laminator, bookletmaker, paper drill and wire binder.
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
- Excellent eye for detail and colour.
- Good organisation skills with the ability to remain calm when under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Other Requirements
Wild Thang’s production facility is so diverse that at times you may be required to offer support to other departments where demand is higher. This could include unpacking / packing of incoming stock, hand finishing and fulfilment. You must be adaptable and responsive to a fast changing environment.
8am-5pm Mon-Thu; 8.30am-4pm Fri - 41 hrs per week.
20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.
