Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chef to lead our culinary team and craft exceptional dining experiences in Middleastern Cusine. Duties
- Lead and supervise the kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency, flavor, and adherence to recipes and menu specifications
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to guest preferences
- Train team members in food safety practices, proper cooking techniques, and hospitality service standards
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
- Monitor food production processes to optimise efficiency and minimise waste while maintaining quality
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced culinary environment or restaurant setting
- Strong background in Middle Eastern food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Extensive culinary experience with knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence
- Prior restaurant experience preferred, with a focus on food production and serving guests effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
