We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and organised Pharmacy Dispenser to join our busy and supportive pharmacy team. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescriptions under the supervision of a Pharmacist.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Assist customers with over-the-counter medicines and healthcare products.
- Build positive relationships with patients, GP surgeries, care homes, and other healthcare providers.
- Support the preparation and management of monitored dosage systems (dosette boxes) where required.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all legal, professional, and company procedures.
- Complete routine pharmacy tasks including date checking, stock management, cleaning, and housekeeping duties.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Information Governance requirements, and Health & Safety policies.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and assist with additional duties as required to support the pharmacy.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
✔ NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or an accredited equivalent qualification)
✔ Previous experience working in a community pharmacy
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
✔ A proactive and positive attitude
✔ The ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
✔ Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
Experience with care homes and monitored dosage systems (dosette boxes) would be an advantage but is not essential.
