Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated <PERSON> to join our construction and fabrication team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various trades, including carpentry, joinery, roofing, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. Duties
- Fabricate and assemble structural components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, joinery, and installation of fixtures
- Conduct roofing repairs or installations with attention to safety standards
- Assist with plumbing tasks such as pipe fitting and fixture installation
- Carry out masonry work including bricklaying and concrete pouring
- Execute electrical wiring and installations in compliance with regulations
- Utilise construction painting techniques for finishing surfaces
- Handle heavy lifting safely during material transport and assembly
- Read technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate project execution
- Maintain a clean and organised worksite to promote safety and efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, or related trades is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, roofing materials, plumbing systems, masonry techniques, electrical wiring, or construction painting is highly desirable
- Prior experience in carpentry or joinery will be advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during demanding tasks
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites is required
- Previous experience working on construction sites or in similar environments is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn
