Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Nursery Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a vibrant early childhood education setting. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. Duties
- Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to all regulatory standards
- Supervise, support, and motivate a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality early childhood education
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that promote learning, development, and well-being for children of various ages
- Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their children's progress and nursery activities
- Oversee health and safety procedures, ensuring a clean, secure, and welcoming environment at all times
- Manage administrative tasks including staff scheduling, record keeping, and compliance documentation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the nursery’s educational offerings and operational efficiency
Skills
- Proven management experience in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team
- Extensive experience working directly with children in childcare or nursery environments
- Deep understanding of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies
- Ability to handle administrative responsibilities accurately and efficiently
- Valid driving license is preferred for transporting children or attending off-site activities

Pay: £32,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
