We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, pick & pack items ready for dispatch.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control via IT systems.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and movements
- Perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting of items up to specified weight limits
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring safety standards are met
- Support stock organisation, storage, and retrieval as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or similar software is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge or construction experience can be beneficial for understanding equipment maintenance
- Ability to perform lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good physical fitness with the ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the warehouse area
- Commitment to health and safety protocols at all times
