Beers Paint is the decorator’s merchant arm of the long-established Beers Timber & Building Supplies Ltd group. We offer a great range of products to both the trade and the general public alike. Our aim is to stock the best options available and help direct customers to the right solutions for their job. We also sell a range of designer wallpapers and high-end paints to help customers achieve an extraordinary finish.
We have an exciting opportunity for a new Assistant Manager come support our Manager as we build and grow this new business.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
· Delivering brilliant customer service in store and over the phone
· Supporting stock control, replenishment and store standards
· Mixing and tinting paint to customer requirements
· Merchandising the products and displays
· Driving the store van to deliver stock locally
· Creating and developing relationships with customers
· Resolving customer queries quickly and efficiently
Essential Skills
· A proactive approach and ability to communicate effectively with customers
· Some product knowledge
· Excellent attention to detail
· Self-motivation and a strong work ethic
Desirable Skills
· Retail experience within a trade paint or similar environment
· Microsoft office experience
· A natural flair and/or interest in interior design
Hours of Work
Minimum of 30 hours per week between the hours of 7.30 am and 5.30 pm - Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 4pm Sunday, with at least two days off per week.
