Overview
We are looking for a well-organised and confident Dispensary Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy dispensary.
No previous pharmacy background is required, as training can be provided. However, strong management, leadership, organisation, and communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate should be able to lead a team, manage workflow efficiently, maintain high standards, and support a positive working environment.
The successful candidate must be able to drive, and should be available to start within one month. Sponsorship may be available for the right candidate, if required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the dispensary and ensure smooth workflow
- Lead, support, and motivate the dispensary team
- Organise staff duties and help maintain efficient working practices
- Monitor stock levels and support ordering, replenishment, and stock control
- Ensure records, audits, and compliance documentation are maintained accurately
- Support staff training, performance, and development
- Help implement procedures to improve efficiency, safety, and service standards
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and healthcare professionals
- Ensure the dispensary operates in line with company policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Strong management or supervisory experience
- Excellent leadership and people-management skills
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks under pressure
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn pharmacy procedures and healthcare regulations
- Ability to drive
- Available to join within one month
- Pharmacy experience is helpful but not essential

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
