We are currently looking for motivated and quality driven full time or part time Complex Care Support Workers / Caregivers in Giffnock to join our growing Homecare Scotland family.

The Clients:
A young woman living with Spina Bifida in South East Glasgow. She lives with her family in a fully adapted home including hoists. She is a wheelchair user and has her own transport which she uses on a daily basis for her active social life. She enjoys social outings, shopping, concerts, the gym and attending her part time job. She is an active participant in arts and culture including dancing and attending events. She directs her own care and is looking for a confident and driven individual who can take initiative and match her vibrant personality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with social activities, outings and interests including dancing, crafts and the gym
- Provide support with attending place of work
- Drive client’s adapted vehicle (A full UK driving licence is essential)
- Assistance with all aspects of personal care
- Administration of medications
- Moving & Handling
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous care experience, including moving and handling
- Have a team player attitude while showing empathy and understanding in demanding situations
- Understanding of disabilities and understanding of adaptive living.
- A great sense of fun and humour and a personality to match our client’s.
Hours and Shifts:
- 08:00 - 1600 - Monday - Friday
- 20:30 - 22:00 - Monday – Sunday
- 09:00 - 17:00 - Saturday
- 09:00 - 11:00 - Sunday
- We can consider candidates to do days only, or evening shift only
