- National Lead Force (NLF) – PIPCU (Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit), IFED (Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department), LFOR (Lead Force Operations Room), Fraud Ops, DCU (Domestic Corruption Unit) and ECCA (Economic and Cyber Crime Academy).

- Specialist Operations (SO) - Cybercrime, PECT (Proactive Economic Crime Team), SOCT (Serious & Organised Crime Team), ART (Asset Recovery Team), PPU (Public Protection Unit), CID, Major Crime, and Intelligence Teams amongst others.

Assessment and how to apply:
The selection/promotion process comprises of the following:
- A competency-based application form (the application form is online) please note that endorsement forms are not required for external applicants.
- Shortlisting panel – the panel will assess your application against the Competency Value Framework (CVF)
- Interview - The assessment process will comprise a structured competency-based interview against the Competency Values Framework.
Applicants who fail to address the skills/knowledge/experience of the job role will not be considered.
The application and interview will be tested under Level 1 of the College of Policing Competency and Values Framework.
