If you know the defence sector, you'll know it isn't about making hundreds of cold calls and hoping for the best. It's about understanding complex supply chains, building trusted relationships, navigating sales cycles, and becoming the person your customers rely on.
That's exactly what this role is all about.
You are a Business Development Executive with bags of personality. Someone who's confident, energetic, and isn't afraid to strike up a conversation with anyone.
You will have experience selling into the UK defence industry. You might come from manufacturing, engineering, precision components, metals, electronics or another technical environment, but you'll understand how the defence market works and what it takes to win business within it.
You'll be the face of the business, building genuine relationships and making sure customers remember your name long after you've left. You will work closely with your customers, you'll identify projects early, understand their technical requirements and position the business as the supplier of choice.
Forget being chained to a desk all day. While others are sending emails, you'll be out meeting customers, attending trade shows, networking, and uncovering new opportunities.
Working alongside some of the most well respected people in the industry, you will be in good company to exceed targets. Based in a new, modern premises with all the tools you need to do the job, you will have the freedom to succeed.

- A knack for understanding technical products.
- A genuine love of getting out to meetings, trade shows and customer visits.
What's in it for you?
- £40,000–£50,000 basic + uncapped bonus
- 26 days holiday + bank holidays
- Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm | Friday finish at 2pm… meaning your weekend begins when you log off.
