About the Role
ICubo Project and Digital Consulting UK Ltd is looking for an analytical, detail-oriented and commercially aware Data Analyst to support business decisions, client projects and operational improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will collect, clean and analyse data from multiple sources, create reports and dashboards, identify trends and communicate practical insights to project teams, managers and clients. They will work closely with business analysts, project managers, consultants and technical specialists to ensure that accurate and meaningful data supports planning, performance monitoring and service delivery.
This role is suited to a data professional with practical experience in reporting, dashboard development, data validation and stakeholder communication who is ready to take greater ownership of analytical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect data from internal systems, spreadsheets, databases and external sources
- Clean, validate and organise structured datasets
- Identify missing, duplicated or inconsistent data
- Develop recurring operational and management reports
- Build interactive dashboards and data visualisations
- Analyse performance, customer, project and operational data
- Identify trends, risks, patterns and improvement opportunities
- Translate business questions into analytical requirements
- Work with stakeholders to define reporting needs and key metrics
- Develop and maintain KPI frameworks
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports
- Monitor project delivery, service levels and operational outcomes
- Produce clear summaries and recommendations from complex datasets
- Present analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- Support business cases and project-planning activities
- Assist with forecasting and capacity analysis
- Analyse customer behaviour, service usage and engagement
- Support process-improvement and digital-transformation projects
- Work with project managers to track milestones and outcomes
- Collaborate with business analysts on requirements gathering
- Support consultants with client-facing analysis and presentations
- Create data models for reporting and decision-making
- Develop SQL queries to retrieve and combine data
- Maintain reporting templates, documentation and data definitions
- Automate repetitive reporting and data-preparation activities
- Conduct quality checks before reports are distributed
- Investigate unexpected results and reporting discrepancies
- Support data migration and system-implementation projects
- Assist with testing new dashboards, tools and reporting processes
- Apply appropriate data-protection and access-control procedures
- Maintain confidentiality when handling commercial or personal data
- Participate in project meetings and analytical workshops
- Manage multiple analytical requests and competing priorities
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting standards
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business or a related subject
- At least two years of professional experience in data analysis or business reporting
- Strong experience using Microsoft Excel
- Practical knowledge of SQL
- Experience creating dashboards and management reports
- Ability to clean, organise and validate datasets
- Good understanding of data-quality principles
- Experience analysing business or operational performance
- Ability to interpret trends and communicate practical conclusions
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to work with large and complex spreadsheets
- Experience gathering reporting requirements from stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain technical findings in clear business language
- Excellent attention to detail

Preferred Experience
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau or a similar visualisation platform
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
- Familiarity with Power Query and advanced Excel functions

- Knowledge of data warehousing and relational databases
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud services
- Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 or digital-performance data
- Experience supporting consultancy or client-delivery projects

Pay: £34,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
