Duties
- Lead training sessions through a variety of methods including workshops, e-learning modules, and on-the-job coaching
- Assess training needs by collaborating with leadership and analyzing performance metrics to identify skill gaps
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives, making data-driven adjustments to maximize impact
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation, engagement, and continuous improvement
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance
- Maintain detailed records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes for reporting purposes
Requirements
- Proven experience in care home training programs and new staff inductions. Ideally MAPPA and PTLLS qualified and current, and First Aid qualified to Train CPR
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences actively
- Excellent communication skills—clear, energetic, and motivational speaking style
- Ability to assess organizational needs and translate them into impactful learning solutions
- Knowledge of instructional design principles and e-learning platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
