As an Engineering Operative, you will:
- Fabricate: Manufacture chassis and key product components with precision, using fabricating and welding skills.
- Forward thinking: Suggest any practical improvements to existing & new product lines.
- Safety First: Adhere to all health and safety practices in place in a busy workplace environment.
- State-of-the-Art Equipment: Use of various welders such as MIG and TIG and occasional use of CNC machinery such as our Mandrel tube bender, Press Brake and Plasma Cutter.
What We're Looking For:
- Team Player: A self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of our engineering team.
- Physical Fitness: The role requires physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy items.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate and meticulous in reading and following mechanical drawings.
- Continuous Improvement: Willing to learn new skills, machinery and best practices. Previous experience and interest in electrical/mechanical machinery is essential.
- Communicate Effectively: Strong communication, verbal and numeracy skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous Experience: Mechanically inclined individuals with prior experience in a similar role & industry.
- CNC Machinery: Previous experience using CNC machinery such as Plasma Cutter & Press Brake etc.
