We are looking for a CDP to join our team at The Milestone.
The Milestone is a traditional village pub and restaurant with guest rooms, in Ripponden near Sowerby Bridge, Halifax.
The right candidate must be passionate about cooking fresh seasonal dishes and keeps up to date with current industry trends to assist in pushing our restaurant forward.
CDP Job Role:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your specialty
- Running a section
- Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
- Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
- Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
Candidate Specifications:
- Must have experience in quality kitchens
- Great cooking skills
- Be professional and forward thinking
Must be available to work evening and weekends with 2 days off during the week.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
