Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and other drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience from the moment they walk in.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during food preparation and service.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any queries they may have.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper use of the till.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment and support each other in daily tasks.
- Be Flexible to cover holidays, sickness or additional hours
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a hygienic workspace.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently juggle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous, contributing to the overall quality of service provided.
