We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding various metal components according to project specifications. You will work on a variety of customer steel fabrication projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding processes on various steel and metal components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Fabricate and weld structural steel components to exact specifications.
- Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment safely.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Adhere to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator (minimum 2 - 3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings & specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Certified to Weld to EN1090 requirements (desirable but not essential).
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to operate power tools and hand tools.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
