Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our team and keep our fleet running smoothly and safely. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles using your mechanical expertise and technical skills. Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle issues accurately by interpreting schematics and technical manuals
- Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs effectively
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
- Assist in the assembly or disassembly of vehicle components during repair or upgrade processes
- Lift heavy parts or equipment safely during maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed
- Follow safety guidelines diligently during all repair activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle repair or maintenance
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques in a workshop setting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine maintenance tasks
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism
- Knowledge of equipment repair procedures across various vehicle types is preferred but not mandatory
- Prior experience in maintenance or automotive repair roles will be highly advantageous
