CSS Motors is an established independent garage and MOT testing station, and we're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic who is also a qualified MOT Tester to join our team.
We're looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and takes pride in doing a good job. You’ll be working on a wide range of vehicles and carrying out general mechanical repairs, servicing, diagnostics and MOTs.
The job
Servicing and general repairs
Diagnostics and fault finding
Brakes, suspension and steering
Clutch replacement
Timing belts
General mechanical repairs
MOT testing and MOT preparation
Identifying faults and carrying out repairs to a high standard
We're looking for someone who:
- Has solid experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic
- Holds a current MOT Tester qualification – Class 4 essential
- Is confident diagnosing faults and working independently
- Can work to a high standard without needing constant supervision
- Is reliable and takes pride in their workmanship
- Has good attention to detail
- Has a full UK driving licence
