About the Role
Exhibition Equipment UK Ltd is looking for a hands-on, reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is central to the smooth running of our warehouse operations, supporting the preparation, maintenance, and dispatch of exhibition furniture and stand elements. You'll be working with a variety of machinery within a wood workshop and hand tools, so practical, hands-on experience and understanding is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move exhibition equipment safely and efficiently around the warehouse
- Operate and maintain tools and machinery to a high standard
- Prepare equipment and stock ahead of events, ensuring everything is of a high standard
- Carry out routine checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance around the warehouse
- Assist with stock control, including goods-in and goods-out processes
- Drive company vehicles to transport equipment as required
- Support the wider team with warehouse organisation and general housekeeping
- Follow all health and safety procedures relevant to warehouse and equipment operations
- Be flexible and available for additional hours during busy periods, in line with business needs
Requirements
- Previous hands-on experience working within warehouse or similar environment is essential
- Competence with hand tools
- Practical, "can-do" approach to physical work
- Full, clean UK driving licence, and aged 25 or over (required for insurance purposes to drive company vehicles)
- Good understanding of basic health and safety practices in a warehouse environment
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible in approach to working hours
- Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and lifting
Working Hours
Part-time, working Monday to Wednesday 9am – 5pm as standard, with the opportunity and expectation of additional hours during busier periods, in line with business demand.

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
