We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Dean Construction & Groundworks Ltd. Candidates must have experience in estimating, takeoffs, managing project costs and subcontract management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures.
- Produce and submit applications for payment.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial targets are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify potential cost implications.
- Prepare reports on project costs and forecasts for stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or estimator specific to the groundworks and civils sector.
- Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
