We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Course Instructor to join our training team and deliver professional training in Food Hygiene, Food Safety and other related courses.
The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting training locations and delivering engaging, practical and professional training sessions to learners. Full training and support will be provided for our systems, procedures and course delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver face-to-face training in Food Hygiene and Food Safety.
* Train learners on food hygiene practices, food safety procedures and relevant workplace requirements.
* Deliver related courses such as HACCP, Allergen Awareness, Food Safety Awareness and other relevant courses.
* Visit client/training locations as required to conduct training.
* Explain course content clearly and support learners throughout their training.
* Conduct assessments and maintain accurate training and learner records.
* Ensure training is delivered in accordance with our quality and standards.
* Maintain professional relationships with learners and clients.
* Keep knowledge of relevant food safety and training requirements up to date.
Essential Qualifications
The candidate must hold a relevant degree or professional qualification in a related field, such as:
* Food Science / Food Technology
* Food Safety
* Nutrition
* Environmental Health
* Hospitality or Catering Management
* Public Health
* Biological Sciences or another closely related subject
A recognised Food Hygiene/Food Safety qualification, HACCP qualification or relevant teaching/training qualification would be an advantage.
Experience
* Previous experience in food hygiene, food safety, hospitality, catering, environmental health or a related field is desirable.
* Previous teaching or training experience is an advantage.
* Training and transport/field-visit experience will be provided for the successful candidate where required.
* Candidates must be confident communicating with learners and delivering training in a professional manner.
* Willingness to travel to client and training locations is essential.
Pay: £25,420.00-£37,118.94 per year
