Key Responsibilities
- Helpdesk Support: Answer phone calls, emails, and IT tickets from staff. Monitoring and maintaining the computer systems and networks.
- Troubleshooting: Fix problems with Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and office printers. Managing any issues or changes required, such as forgotten passwords, viruses or email issues
- Hardware Setup: Prepare laptops, desktops, phones, and accessories for new employees. Working with field engineers to visit customers/employees if the problem is more serious / Testing and fixing faulty equipment.
- User Accounts: Create and delete user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Network Support: Fix basic Wi-Fi, router, and VPN connection problems.
- Documentation: Write clear guides and update IT records. Updating self-help documents so customers/employees can try to fix problems themselves
- Soft Skills: Working with customers/ employees to identify computer problems and advising on the solution / Logging and keeping records of customer/employee queries
- Technical Skills: Analyze call logs so you can spot common trends and underlying problems
Requirements and Skills
- Experience: 1 to 2 years in an IT support or helpdesk role.
- Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
- Communication: Clear and polite phone and email manner.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to find fixes quickly and stay calm under pressure.
- Qualifications: Relevant IT degree or certifications
Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
