Role Purpose
The Awards & Recognition Copywriter,at Write. It is a pure narrative engineer. Decoupled from administrative planning or event planning, your entire mission is to take fragmented corporate metrics, technical business breakthroughs, and raw interviews, and weave them into elite, emotionally resonant, and bulletproof business cases. You will master the art of the micro-narrative, proving profound brand impact within strict constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigative Interviewing: Conduct structured, incisive interviews with big-brand subject matter experts and leadership teams to pull out the hidden "human story" and hard data behind complex projects.
- Premium Copywriting: Write evocative, compelling "problem-solution-results" award entries that capture the judge's attention from the very first sentence.
- Tone Articulation: Seamlessly adapt your writing style to match the specific tone required—from creative advertising and culture awards to dense, technical engineering and sustainability submissions.
- Peer Review & Structural Editing: Collaborate with fellow Write. It writers to ruthlessly copy-edit, polish, and optimise submission drafts for peak persuasion and word-count efficiency.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional high-stakes writing experience (e.g., B2B Journalist, Bid/Proposal Writer, Financial/Tech Copywriter, Corporate Communications Specialist).
- The Write. It Portfolio: A standout writing portfolio demonstrating long- and short-form business storytelling, case studies, or editorial profiles that convert dry data into deep engagement.
- Rapid Conceptual Comprehension: The intellectual agility to quickly digest unfamiliar, complex frameworks (e.g., enterprise SaaS architectures, ESG regulatory reports) and translate them into universally gripping prose.
Technology Stack
- Required: Enterprise copywriting and collaborative editing suites (Microsoft Word, Google Docs), professional real-time optimisation tools.
