Overview

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment

- Repair or replace faulty components to minimise downtime
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure safety standards are upheld during all operations
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as required
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and organisational policies
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role is preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical components
- Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or related fields are advantageous
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts if required, including overtime when necessary
