We are looking for a highly creative, conscientious, and energetic person to join our friendly jewellery engraving and jewellery teams, personalising our beautiful products for our customers. You will be using state of the art laser engraving machines along with Adobe Creative Suite. Full training on our engraving machines will be given.
While we don’t expect the successful candidate to have previous experience of laser engraving, we do expect them to be highly proficient in graphic design and photo manipulation / retouching using Photoshop and to be enthusiastic to learn. The photoshop experience might have been used in previous roles or self taught. You may have experience of CAD software. Any experience of using machinery such as printing presses, 3D printing, CNC machines etc would be an advantage.
This role is 100% office based. We are looking for an immediate start
You will also be fully trained in jewellery making so that you will be able to cover both job roles, helping providing cover where it is needed.

What is this role?
· Independently engraving products to order.
· Manipulating / retouching images to ensure best possible results.
· Occasionally liaising with customers by telephone and / or email when clarification is required on supplied artwork.
· Using in-house order processing and email systems to retrieve artwork, read customer comments and requirements, engrave the item and then pass on to our QC teams for final checks.
· Ensure the necessary standards are meet and that you are proud of the finished product.
· High level of detail and accuracy required.
· Ensuring a meticulous clean environment.
· You need to work quickly and accurately consistently.
· You’ll be working in a modern office environment.
· You will receive full training.
What qualities are desirable?
· Fully confident using Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Photoshop). You must be able to cut and enhance images. All candidates that reach the interview stage will have to sit a Photoshop proficiency test in this skill.
· Ability to learn new software packages. Full training will be provided on how to use our Laser Engraving machines.
· Have a keen eye for detail and take pride in your work.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Have good time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
· Be a problem solver with a positive attitude.
· Technically minded.
· Have the ability to concentrate and maintain excellent attention to detail under pressure.

Skills required?
· Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Photoshop) - Fully Confident.
· Using CAD software a bonus
· Use of CNC or any heavy machinery a bonus
· Have an excellent eye for detail and an uncompromising strive for perfection.
· Be very hardworking and able to manage workload within tight timescales.
· Have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
· Be reliable and punctual.
· Have a bright and willing attitude.
