We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/Waitress to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by preparing high-quality beverages and food items while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to engage with customers and provide outstanding service will be key to our success.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and serving areas, adhering to food safety standards.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are fresh and presented beautifully.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. .
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food safety practices are advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
