As part of our Clinical Resilience Team within the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) service, you'll provide expert clinical assessment and advice from the comfort of your own home, supporting Out of Hours (OOH) and Clinical Assessment Services (CAS) across England.
Whether you're looking for additional sessions alongside your current role or want greater flexibility in your working week, this is an opportunity to make a real difference while working remotely.
As a Clinical Resilience Team GP, you'll deliver safe, effective and timely clinical assessments via telephone and, where appropriate, video consultation. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll:
- Assess and manage urgent healthcare needs for adults and children
- Provide advice, treatment plans and onward referrals where appropriate
- Support Out of Hours clinical pathway
- Prescribe safely using electronic prescribing systems
- Offer clinical support to colleagues across the wider urgent care team
- Help ensure patients receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time

- Fully qualified General Practitioner with GMC registration and relevant UK licence to practice.
- Inclusion on the England GP Performers List
- Previous experience working in a Primary Care setting is essential.
- Previous experience working in out of hours desirable.
- Proven experience using the Adastra clinical system for patient record management.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage a diverse and often complex caseload.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centred care aligned with Practice Plus Group’s values.
- Flexibility with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Experience managing both acute and chronic presentations
- Strong telephone consultation and clinical assessment skills
- Good IT and keyboard skills
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
