Kitchen Porter – Evening Service TeamFish&Forest – York
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Kitchen Porter to join the team at Fish&Forest.
This is a fast-paced professional kitchen focused on high standards, teamwork, and consistency. We are looking for someone who takes pride in working hard, staying organised, and helping the kitchen run smoothly during service.
What the role involves: Washing dishes, pans, and kitchen equipment Keeping the kitchen clean and organised throughout service Assisting chefs with basic prep and cleaning tasks when needed Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards Helping with deliveries and end-of-night close down
Hours:Wednesday–Saturday eveningsStart time between 3pm–5pm depending on bookings and prep requirementsFinish approximately 11pm, or once the kitchen is fully closed down
Pay: National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage (depending on age) Monthly share of tips.
What we’re looking for: Reliable and punctual Comfortable working under pressure Good attitude.Able to work quickly and cleanly as part of a team Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential
