Job Title: Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Porter

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Porter to join our friendly team. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts. The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping our kitchen clean, organised, and running efficiently while supporting our chefs and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic kitchen at all times.
- Clean and sanitise work surfaces, floors, and food preparation areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.
- Assist with basic food preparation when required.
- Restock kitchen supplies and keep workstations organised.
- Support the chefs and kitchen team with general kitchen duties.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
- Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
