Industrial Silo Cleaners Required
Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and live local to the Selby area.
Due to ongoing and new contracts, we are looking to fill vacancies for Industrial Silo Cleaners. We are one of the UK’s most successful industrial cleaning companies in the food and animal feed industries and work for some of the country’s leading brands throughout the UK. We are based in Selby, North Yorkshire, but travel across the UK to work at customers sites, therefore the job does require short periods of working away from home, usually no more than 4 nights (accommodation and meals provided).
Applicants must be hard working, reliable, punctual and comfortable working at heights and in small spaces. You must be able to work well and communicate within a team. Previous experience in the industry would be beneficial, but relevant training will be provided to successful applicants.
Key tasks include the internal cleaning of storage silos and high-level cleaning, which involves manual handing of heavy equipment, working at heights and working in confined spaces. The work involves physical labour.
This is a full-time position, working an average of 40 hours per week with a competitive salary based on experience.
Probationary hourly rate £14.50.
