Camberley Service Centre is looking for a fully qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician and/or MOT Tester to join our busy team.
Responsibilities and duties
- Conduct MOT inspections in line with DVSA Standards - Class 4 & Class 7
- Conduct Vehicle Inspections in accordance with Vehicle Inspectorates procedures
- Identify worn and faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards
- Complete Client documentation
- Undertake vehicle servicing as required
- Undertake vehicle repairs as required
- Conduct tyre fitting and wheel alignments
Knowledge/experience/qualifications required for this role
- Valid MOT Tester License issued by the DVSA
- Knowledge on current MOT standards
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 automotive qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of vehicle mechanics, systems, and components
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify faults or defects accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility to work additional hours during busy periods
- Own vehicle and tools (specialist tools provided)
- A full UK driving license
