Duties
- Conduct on-site repairs of mobile devices, including screens, batteries, and minor hardware issues using hand tools and power tools.
- Diagnose device problems accurately through visual inspection and functional testing.
- Use mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, and reassemble mobile phones efficiently.
- Handle heavy lifting when moving or replacing larger components or devices safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and parts are properly stored after each job.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and any additional services needed.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all repair procedures to prevent accidents or damage.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electronics or device repair preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and prying tools is essential.
- Experience using power tools for disassembly or assembly tasks is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy devices or components safely as part of routine repairs.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Prior experience in mobile device repair or a related technical field is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
