The Role
We are looking for a Planning Assistant to help us provide effective and timely responses to householder and other minor planning applications and by providing associated planning advice to the public.
The role will work across the North and South areas of the National Park. The role offers hybrid working with your office base at Aldern House in Bakewell.
About You
You will need to have a formal planning or other relevant discipline training to degree-level (at least part completed) and have a high standard of written and verbal communication skills, be an effective team worker along with good organisational and time management. An awareness of rural planning/conservation issues and an ability to make balanced judgments would be expected.
